COMMUNITY MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
The Community Maintenance Program preserves young families by connecting young parents with trusted adults, extended family members, kinship networks, mentors, and community supporters who provide guidance, motivation, practical assistance, and positive co-parenting relationships. Rooted in cultural traditions, collective caregiving, and peer support, the program recognizes the strengths that already exist within families and communities to help prevent child welfare involvement, reduce family displacement, and promote long-term family stability.

The Young Mothers Healing Circle is a culturally responsive, peer-led collective created by young mothers seeking a safe space to heal, connect, and grow together. Through bi-weekly healing circles, social-emotional learning, and community partnerships, participants strengthen coping skills, build supportive relationships, celebrate personal milestones, and develop the confidence and resources needed to achieve long-term self and family sufficiency.

The Young Fathers Initiative is a culturally responsive, peer-led collective that empowers young fathers to strengthen their relationships with their children through positive co-parenting, leadership, and family engagement. Through peer support, care management, mental and behavioral health services, workforce development, and entrepreneurial opportunities, fathers build the skills, confidence, and economic stability needed to support their families. The initiative promotes healing, accountability, and long-term family preservation while helping fathers become active, engaged parents and community leaders.
